For patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), no dose adjustment is required. It is an oral hypoglycemic drug that can be used for T2D patients with with renal function impairment. In February 2026, dorzagliatin (Trade name: MYHOMSIS(R)) was approved for marketing by the Pharmaceutical Services of the Department of Health of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.
